Oh Yeah!

We decided to let M ride her bike today as we worked out. She does great when we put her in the stroller and run, but we knew that she would love to ride her bike. Here she is riding while B runs beside her.
Then it was my turn. I never knew that I needed to work on my stride. It looks like I'm speed walking rather than running. Oh well, just know that I am in fact running and in turn, sweating profusely! (just what you wanted to know!)

We usually run with the double stroller, but since M was riding her bike, we got to take the single stroller for K. Pushing a stroller and running makes for awesome calorie burning! I am so thankful to M and K for always being so patient as we put them in the stroller and either run or walk or both. We like to go for at least 40 minutes and they never complain. They are so awesome! I love them so much! Good work team!

The baker & her helpers

I love that I have such great helpers! Here is K kneading the bread dough.
Here is M kneading the bread dough. She loves to help make bread. She does a great job. As soon as she saw that I had the camera, she wanted to take a picture of me kneading the dough. (And then pictures of almost everything in the kitchen!) I like the pictures of them helping the best.

HAPPY 4 OF JULY!

I am so thankful that I live in America! I love that I am an American. We are all so lucky to live here and have the freedoms that we have. Thank you to all the men and women that are protecting me and my family. B and I are so blessed that we get to raise our family here. I hope that everyone had an amazing fourth and took time to thank Heavenly Father that you get to live here. Happy Birthday America!

Isn't this sunset beautiful?! What an awe inspiring way to end the fourth of July!

Handy daddy

I put the pictures on wrong. This one was supposed to be last. B put in our over the range microwave without killing himself! Of course there was one little problem.
When we took the hood off the wall it left a couple of exposed live wires. So he took a picture, went to Lowes and asked them how to fix it.

They told him that he needed to cut a hole in the wall, put in a box and cap off the wires. So he did. That is so great that he just did it. If I was the one putting in the microwave and found live wires, I would have called an electrician to come fix it.

Here is a picture of the wires before he fixed them. Yipee for my handy man that knows what he's doing and can put our microwave above our stove to free up more counter space.

Seat for four please

Yes you are in fact looking at a gigantic camping chair. My brother-in-law, J, (yes the same J that doesn't mind holding a small boy wearing in itchy tutu, shoving his fingers in his ears.) Went to some kind of guys convention in Chicago and found this chair. Isn't is great?! I love that all four of us can sit on it at the same time.

Hiking with a tutu & a purse

As promised here is the picture of K hiking in a tutu. Please notice that M had to have a purse. She is so so girly. I honestly don't know where she gets it. She takes a purse full of princess toys where ever we go. She loves to wear dresses. I got a fabulous pair of heels from Aldo, she has worn them more than I have. She doesn't know why I won't let her wear my heels to play outside. Anyway, K wouldn't let me take the tutu off of him before we left to go hiking. He just loves it. I had to take M and K hiking without B because he had to work. Well, my oh so awesome brother-in-law, J, offered to hold K so that I could help M. Most of the time K was on J's shoulders, he had his fingers in his ears. I'm not really sure why, but J is so awesome that he didn't even mind. Thanks for your help J, I really appreciated it!

All boy?

M loves to play dress up and since K plays with M most of the time, he also loves to play dress up. His dress up of choice is this tutu. When he wears it, he wears it all day. I am going to put a picture on of us hiking and him wearing the tutu. I love it! I love that he is man enough to wear it while he rides his dump truck!
