Please!

Dear pilot, fellow drivers and all bad guys:
My dear husband will be flying, driving and being around you for the first part of this week. I REALLY need him. So all I am asking is that you return him to me when he is ready to come home. He needs to be here to see his kids grow up and to grow old with me. Thank you so much!

"I stayed in the lines!"

M has been practicing trying so hard to stay in the lines when she colors. Today she did it! She was so proud of herself. Who can blame her? I think these trees look awesome.

The local Grotto

Thanks to my brilliant younger sister, we learned that there is a grotto close to our house. We went up the other day to check it out. There is a really short easy hike that we took. The water was so cold it hurt my feet, But we still had a really good time.
I love my kids! They make me so happy. They loved the hike.
B with M and K. We had such a great time! I am so thankful that we love to be together as a family and that there are beautiful things like this grotto to look at.

While we were at Priest Lake, both B and I tried wake surfing. Of course B got up and looked awesome. Me on the other hand, well look at the picture. It was fun even if I did look stupid!

Every night M and K would come into our sleeping bag. One morning we tried to take a picture of us "sleeping" but M and K kept smiling. I love this picture!

The top picture is of B and K switching hats. I think the picture is so cute! The picture under it is me and B sliding down a rock slide that is at Priest Lake. The water was really cold because it comes from a spring. M and K wanted nothing to do with it because the water was way too cold. I love to watch B water ski. He says that he doesn't like this picture because he doesn't have a big spray and his ski is too far out of the water. I think that he is a coo-coo crazy head! I think that he looks awesome!

One morning M found grandma B's makeup. I don't know if it's eye shadow or blush all over her, but I think it is so cute!
We had such a great time! We love to be on the boat. That way we are able to be together. The water was really cold, so M and K stayed in the boat. I love my family so much!

There is this cool area that is roped off just for swimming. There is a dock right next to the swimming area. There is a post on the dock that we were able to jump off of and take cool pictures. I'm trying to catch the ball that was thrown to me. After jumping into the freezing water 5 times trying to catch the ball, I decided this was as good as it gets!
Of course B caught the ball the first time he jumped! Go B. You have always way more athletic than I ever hope to be. Even when it comes to trying to catch a ball after jumping off a pole on a dock!

The sand was awful! It was pretty rocky and hurt to walk in. K tried to be happy but the sand hurt his feet and the water was so cold. What was he to do? Thankfully grandma B had been a thinker and brought this little raft that we were able to play in. The water in the swimming area got pretty deep, so I just used my legs to putt us along in the water. Yes the water was frigid, but the little raft kept M and K happy, so cold or not, we putted our way around in the swimming area.

Priest Lake

Isn't it so beautiful?! This is Priest Lake. It is about 30 minutes away from the border of Canada.
Can you tell that K was excited to get out of the car?! We were all really excited to be there.

K, me and M in the suburban going to Priest Lake. The drive was about 15 hours. That doesn't include stopping to go potty and eat. Yes, I sat between them the whole time so that I could take care of them. Thankfully we took two days to get there. driving all 15 hours in one day would have been awful! M and K did awesome in the car. We were really worried about the drive and being in the car for two full days, but they were troopers and did awesome!
